12noon – 4pm Monday to Fridays
10am – 12 noon Saturdays
Closed on local Gazetted Public Holidays
The Public Library offers free of charge service to all Shire residents. Free library services also extended to all visitors to Christmas Island. The Library has many resources including Shire’s local history collection and is serviced with regular library book exchanges from the State Library of Western Australia.
